| Anything New? | Information | Staff Members |
Well after much work, TLWS site has finally been finished and opened to the public. This is due to Kumori and I's huge work. Staff positions are still open and can be applied for by finding the correct thread. The application process may go on for a while, so do not worry if you are not accepted instantly. With that said go write! | Welcome and thank you for visiting The Liberal Writer’s Society. I am extremely happy that you have decided to take a look around and hope you enjoy what you see. The Liberal Writer’s Society, or TLWS for short, was founded on the concept that there should be a place for all types of role players to express themselves and learn from each other without having limits placed upon them. While you are allowed to place limits on your own role players, the staff is not going to make you stick to a PG-13 or below rating. It is your choice to do so, if you wish. What I hope you find here is an oasis for role players. You do not have to pretend to role play all the time and I personally encourage you to have a bit of fun with the other members in the downtime section. Sometimes the best inspiration is just the casual chat with your neighbor. You are free to display your private writings, poems, artworks and such. At the same time I would love for you to feel that you are able to ask for help about improving your writing style. Just post a sample of your writing and the community will take a look at and try to help you. This whole site is geared around cultivating the imagination and helping you increase your writing skills; there are little features like a word of the day (hosted on the news banner) to give you ideas. No one is the perfect writer but we certainly should chase perfection! So what is this community lacking? Well you for starters! Everyone, no matter how old or young, who is able to pick up a pencil or type has the ability to be a creative writer. For some this comes easy and for others it does require a bit of patience. But no two humans are identical and therefore we all have something that needs to be said! As many have found out, writing is a great hobby that relaxes a person. You will learn to look through life from other character’s perspective; a skill that many people wish they had. So please, you have come this far. Why not take a little time to look around? Sincerely, Sang [Admin of TLWS] |
